CSEC English A preparation for private candidates

Prepare for the May–June 2027 CSEC English A examination through live online lessons, guided practice and focused feedback. The next cohort is now forming. Students attend two 90-minute Zoom lessons each week and use Moodle for course materials, assignments and independent study. The confirmed class schedule and starting date will be provided when the minimum enrolment is reached.

CSEC English A Tutoring

Focused preparation in comprehension, summary writing, essay writing, language use, and examination strategies to help students develop the skills and confidence required for CSEC English A.

How It Works

  1. Complete the registration form
    Register your interest in CSEC English A by completing the online form. Submitting the form does not guarantee a place.

  2. Complete the Week 1 diagnostic
    After enrolment, complete the five-day diagnostic assessment during Week 1. This internal assessment is included in the programme and helps the instructor identify your strengths, learning needs and areas requiring additional practice.

  3. Attend your online classes
    Attend two 90-minute Zoom lessons each week, with guided practice and feedback.

  4. Build skills and exam readiness
    Develop the knowledge, strategies, and confidence needed to prepare for your CXC examination.
